We stayed at a house on Hukilau beach near Laie. We played on the beach, did some snorkeling, climbed Diamond Head, went kayaking, visited the Polynesian Cultural Center and played games. The best part though was just being with family!
Hukilau Beach
Our kids had so much fun playing on the beach
They loved playing in the waves too. Elle liked jumping over them and Easton would plop face forward in them. It was funny!
Everybody loved boogie boarding
Even Easton got to take a wave in, with Don's help, and he loved it!
One of Easton's favorite things was digging for crabs with Grandpa! They went digging for crabs everyday. He, Elle and Mitch made a crab habitat so they could watch them.
We went snorkeling at Shark's Cove. It was Elle and Easton's first time and they thought it was so cool to see all the fish.
I think we went to Matsumotos about 5 times for snow cones. They are so yummy!
We drove south one day and hiked to the top of Diamond Head with Ken and Mitch
The view at the top was so pretty

One of the highlights of the week was going to a luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center
Jayne was so cute trying to dance like the hula dancers at the luau
We all went kayaking in Haleiwa one day too
We got to be in Hawaii over Easter and went to a big egg hunt in Laie with all the locals. It was so much fun to see the kids running around looking for eggs. The Easter Bunny even came riding in on a horse. Jayne was so excited to see him and kept saying "Bunny, bunny!"
The kids loved waking up Easter morning in Hawaii. They couldn't wait to see what the Easter Bunny left in their Easter Baskets
We had an egg hunt in the back yard for the kids too. They loved all the candy and treats!
We had such a fun week! Thank you Don and Diane!
