"Stinky" the fish and Michael Jackson?
Easton got a pet goldfish from a birthday party about a month ago. He was so excited to have his own fish and named it "Stinky." Last Monday, we woke up and found Stinky floating in his fish bowl. Easton was devastated so we told him we would have a little funeral for him and then flush him down the toilet. We said we liked Stinky because he was orange and swam a lot and because Easton liked him. Easton laughed a little bit but when he actually flushed the toilet, he cried again. It was so sad! We told him not to worry because Stinky was in Heaven and could swim all he wanted now. We said he was with Uncle Jay and Ashley now and Elle's fish, "Princess." Then Easton asked, "Is he with Michael Jackson?" It was so funny! Where did that come from? We let the kids watch part of the music from the "This is It" Michael Jackson movie because they love the song "Thriller" and apparently, it made an impression. Easton loves Michael Jackson now...

that one of him crying is so sad! I love the campout in the basement! Yeah for Jayne and getting moving! It really is all about the right motivation! She is SO stinkin cute! I always laugh because we have so many of the same clothes as your girls!
That fish story reminds of a gerbel Michael and Bret had named Dixie. Dixie developed a tumor so big we had to look for a head to know which was gerbel and which was a tumor :) We had a funeral and buried giant tumor/little gerbel in a shoe box in the backyard. I think I'll dig the box up and see if she's resurrected yet, heh heh.
